Finale Author Event with Idra Novey - Sioux City Reads 2024

Join fellow Sioux City readers at the Sioux City Art Center at 225 Nebraska St., for a social hour beginning at 2pm followed by a Q&A Author Talk at 3pm with Idra Novey via Zoom. After a brief panel discussion, attendees will be invited to ask questions. Seating is limited. Tickets to the 3pm event will be available on an in-person first come, first served basis starting at 2pm during the social hour. 

More About Idra Novey:

Idra Novey is the author of the novel Take What You Need, a New York Times Notable Book of 2023. It was also named a Best Book of the Year with The New Yorker, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, NPR, and a Guardian Author Pick. The novel was recently longlisted for the 2023 Joyce Carol Oates Prize. Her fiction and poetry have been translated into a dozen languages and she’s written for The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and The Guardian. She teaches fiction writing at Princeton University. Her new book of poems, Soon and Wholly, will be out in September.
